Recycling Program:

Packing Materials and Crates – lumber, foam, plastic, bubble wrap, metal, paper, cardboard - are recycled.

Energy Efficiency Program:

L.A. Packing, Crating and Transport is committed to an ongoing program to achieve optimum energy efficiency.

An On-Site Energy Assessment by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power assisted us in identifying specific areas of energy saving. To increase energy efficiency we have converted to Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL), added Occupancy Sensors to activate lights, installed Exit Signs with new LED lamps, have upgraded existing fluorescent fixtures to electronic ballast with T-8 lamps, and are de-lamping fixtures.

Energy Star Monitors, Laser Printers.

Recycled Products Used:

Honeycomb Board, Corrugated Pads/Sheets, Corrugated Rolls, Cartons, Tubes, Kraft Paper, Foam Roll, Air Bubble Cushioning, and Biodegradable Peanuts. All products are available through Ashley Distributors Packing and Archival supplies.
